It was only natural, therefore, that environmental factors were at the heart of the local politicians’ concerns as they went about planning the project.
To make sure that nothing was left to chance, they sought help from the PALME association (Programme d’Actions Labellisées pour la Maîtrise de l’environnement) and committed themselves to a PALME environmental charter.
